CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Officials say multiple people are wounded after a shooting inside a Calhoun Street church. The shooting happened about 9 p.m. at 110 Calhoun Street, according to Charleston police.
The suspect is described as a clean-shaven white male, about 21 years old, Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said.
He was wearing a gray sweatshirt or hoodie, blue jeans and Timberland boots, Francis said.

The incident happened at about 9 p.m. at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church on Calhoun Street in downtown Charleston, police said.
Charleston police have not confirmed any information on victims.
According to WCIV, multiple people were shot.
